“the worship of God”
Worship is a three-print series of à la poupée photo-based intaglio plates. This series utilizes the historical style of stained glass to ponder the idea of “worship” and how we think of what (or who) we hold dear. Each window displays a metaphor—personal or conceptual—that deals with how we experience or express love. How do we reason with ourselves about the pedestals we place others on? How do we reason with the pedestals we are placed upon by others? Is worship an act of love or a manifestation of isolation?
